About
My name is Livia Soekarman, born on 11 November 2002 in Haarlem. I am currently studying at Artemis Academie in Amsterdam, a creative HBO academy focused on Trend Forecasting, Styling & Design and Art Direction. The study trains students to become allround creative concept developers, combining research, concept development, visual storytelling, styling and design.
For as long as I can remember, I have always been drawn to drawing, making and creating visual stories. During the corona period, this naturally grew into one of my first creative projects: starting my own bikini brand. Through this experience, I learned much more than just designing. I became familiar with the full process behind a fashion product: from creating and producing to ordering, promoting, packaging and presenting a brand.
Besides fashion and design, photography has always played an important role in the way I express ideas. I am constantly exploring how visuals can communicate a feeling, identity or concept. At the moment, I am developing myself into a true allround creative, with experience in the complete Adobe Creative Cloud, Vectorworks, different AI tools such as Nano Banana, and AI-based video creation.
From 2024 to 2025, I worked at CSDM within the social media team. There, I researched how different advertisements could attract more attention and explored what worked, and what did not, within digital out-of-home advertising.
Besides my studies and creative projects, I have also been working as a host for the past one and a half years. In this role, I often see different brand activations, events and creative executions from large companies up close. This gives me insight into how brands present themselves, how they attract attention and how they communicate with their audience. I try to use these experiences as inspiration for my own development as an allround creative.
My work combines concept, aesthetics and strategy. I am interested in creating visual worlds that feel strong, relevant and personal, while always looking for new ways to use design, technology and storytelling together.
